Transporation & Logistics

In today’s competitive global economy, clients expect just-in-time inventory, impeccable logistics, low-cost, low-maintenance solutions and security of goods in transit. Using an automated tracking supply chain management system that is straightforward, automated and that offers worldwide interoperability can help you achieve those objectives.

Evigia’s EV3 family of products can help manage the supply chain, tracking goods across the United States, Canada and the world. Developed to function in the harshest conditions, these systems will track assets across land, sea or air.

Air Cargo

The demand for air cargo is expected to grow by six percent annually over the next 20 years. This significant growth creates higher competitive pressure and requires more efficient logistics. The demands extend to ensuring the integrity and freshness of perishable products, or detecting potential damage to delicate cargo in transit. The data from Evigia’s sensing tag products can be monitored where liability changes hands, such as at borders and airports, and data related to damaged goods can be reconstructed to determine liability.

The EV3 family of ISO18000-7.compliant products enables wireless use across the globe. Low EMI means Evigia’s products can be used on any aircraft. Sensor data and chain of custody can easily be tracked through the entire supply chain, offering unprecedented view of air-shipped assets. Evigia and its partners offer a complete solution to your world-wide transportation and logistics needs.

Container Security and E-Seals

Evigia offers several container shipment and security options that not only track the whereabouts of the shipment but also record information related to security to determine if a container was opened or tampered with during transit. This helps with the movement of supplies through customs and providing the necessary assurance for end-to-end container security.

Container security and e-seal tags offer three advantages to customers. First, they act as standard RFID tags, allowing shipments to be tracked. Second, they detect any breach of the container, recording the time and date. Finally, sensors inside the container sense temperature and humidity within the container while simultaneously monitoring shock or impact to the shipment.
