Shipping chemicals and hazardous materials often requires precise tracking of location, temperature, humidity and time of delivery. Manual monitoring of such shipments is costly and prone to error, which can be potentially disastrous.

Evigia’s EV3 suite of active RFID sensing systems electronically track the location of your shipments throughout the transit process. They also monitor the conditions along the way–temperature, humidity, light, shock and breach–to ensure that product safety, security and quality hasn’t degraded or been compromised.

Material-specific information, such as MSDS sheets, origin and destination and other data required by the North American Transportation Association and the US Environmental Protection Agency, can be stored right on the wireless tags. In the event of an accident, hazards can be identified–and the appropriate response determined–from a distance of over 100 meters.
